Arriving at Cliff’s sisters was like arriving at an oasis in the dessert. After 10 days of travelling and living from a flight bag we were able to do some washing, share some of our experiences and the wine we had bought! Although we had enjoyed eating out it was also lovely to eat some delicious, home cooked food.
Cliff unpacked his bike and cycled off to rediscover some of his favourite rides in the area. Janet’s organic apple farm is in Vaucluse, ideally situated on the edge of the Luberon, which has some of the most wonderful Les Beaux Villages de France.
Janet and I met him for lunch in Lacoste, from where we could also see Bonnieux, another of the hill top villages.
Cliff also had the pleasure of seeing a stage of the Tour de France live in Robion. His first but not his last.
